This summer, one of Georgetown’s public recreation spaces will be transformed into a pirate ship, and everyone is invited to climb aboard for an evening of family fun.
For one evening, Georgetown Recreation Center Outdoor Pool will be setting sail for pirate-themed excitement, and it is geared towards kids who are from ages two to eight. The pool will be open so all the guests can swim, splash and cool off, and while the regular admission rates apply to non-members, members will be admitted for free.
Along with the swimming, the guests can play games, hunt for treasure and meet new friends, and the grown-up landlubbers can enjoy mingling with the other parents and caregivers. The fun event is set to last for approximately two and a half hours.
The Captain of the Ship has put out a call to Georgetown’s business seeking financial crew members for this activity. These community sponsors can have their Logo Design displayed on the materials used to promote the function to show the public that they care about their community, which can make this sort of evening a valuable marketing opportunity.
This summer splash will be hosted at Georgetown Recreation Center Outdoor Pool on Friday, August 7. It will kick off at 5:30 pm and continue on until 8:00 pm.
