Georgetown gala to share stories behind the scars

An organization that works to empower women who have physical scars has planned a fundraiser for Georgetown, and the gala will serve as one of its signature events.

The 2022 We Are Not Broken Gala will be celebrating three years of helping girls and women turn trauma into triumph, and it has issued an invitation to both the general public and the area's corporate community to get involved. They can purchase individual tickets or choose to sponsor the occasion by reserving a table or opting for a different level of support.

The guests at the celebration will be enjoying an evening filled with socializing, where drinks, food, and other fun are all on the agenda. The festivities will have a theme borrowed from the 1950s, and games and a live auction are in the works. The proceeds from the occasion will be used by the host organization to fund its initiatives, including one that tells the story behind the physical scars women may carry.

Not-for-profit groups often offer sponsorship packages to their local corporate community. This helps to both fund the activity and also promote local businesses by putting their Logo Design and other branding in the public eye.

The We Are Not Broken Gala has been planned for the evening of Saturday, November 12, and the doors will open at 5:30 pm. The Celebration Event Center has been booked to host the celebration.
