The 4-H program provides kids with an opportunity to learn by engaging in hands-on agricultural based activities, and a group that supports its Georgetown chapter will soon be hosting a food-filled fundraiser.
The Show Team Supporters announced that their annual Steak Dinner, Live Auction and Raffle will be wrapping up August, and tickets for two are $150.00 each. As the doors will open an hour ahead of the dinner service, everyone will have lots of time to mingle, and the Georgetown Community Center in San Gabriel Park will be the venue for the festivities.
The guests will be treated to a steak dinner with all the trimmings, and beverages are included as well. The excitement of the live auction will begin after the meal is over, and everyone can try their luck in the reverse raffle. Three top prizes will be drawn for, and there will be other games as well.
As with many not for profit activities, the organizers of the evening are hoping for lots of support from the local corporate community. They have put a sponsorship program in place, and the “thank you” perks available may include having the supporter’s logo added to the auction paddles and other Promotional Products used as well as the function’s web listing.
This annual steak dinner celebration will support area 4-H activities on August 23rd. It will kick off at 6:00 pm.
