Georgetown food festival to have local foodies smiling

Georgetown’s culinary community is set to take center stage as part of a fundraiser that will benefit area kids.

The Boys and Girls Club of Georgetown has joined forces with chefs, eateries, and caterers from all across Williamson County for this year's Just a Taste food festival. This event was formerly known as Taste of Georgetown, and it gives food service providers a venue where they can introduce themselves to future diners.

The organizers of this food-filled celebration, which will be held at the Georgetown Community Center, pointed out that they expect it to attract a crowd that numbers in the hundreds, and it will offer a variety of fare. Desserts will be available as well, and as there are sponsorship opportunities available, community-minded businesses will be able to get involved.

Since many people are itching to get out and socialize following a year of lockdowns and social distancing regulations, an event like this offers them a chance to do so. Print shops can help spread the word to everyone who may be interested in being a part of the fun.

This tasty way to lend a hand to Georgetown kids will be putting smiles on the faces of local foodies on Friday, October 15. Everyone is encouraged attend and help make the celebration a big success.
