Georgetown will be springing into another season with an event that will celebrate all that makes the city special.
The Red Poppy Festival will be making its return for another year, and it will showcase what is billed as being “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.” The list of activities on the agenda is extensive, with many offerings being free of charge.
The plans for the festivities include a classic car show as well as a community parade and live entertainment that will take to the three different stages set up. Garden tours and artisan markets are in the works, and everyone can hit the road in the 5K walk and run. A culinary competition will give chefs a chance to shine.
