A Georgetown event will feature a variety of activities that, weather permitting, will be topped off with an ”evening glow” of hot air balloons.
Balloon enthusiasts will be setting up their craft in Garey Park, which is not far from downtown Austin. If the weather cooperates, they will be offering tethered rides, and both morning launches and evening glows have been planned as well.
While the inflated aircraft may be the main feature, there will be a lot more going on. Area musicians and other performers will entertain the crowd, and there will be cooking demonstrations, an artists’ area, pop-up galleries and vendor booths, tasting stations, and many other opportunities for fun. Kids can head to the children's play area, and a polo match has also been included in the agenda.
The event is set to run for two days and special VIP passes can be purchased for the Saturday session. Those who purchase one will be welcome to relax in private bar areas. They will also receive a catered lunch and dinner, and also preferred location seating for the polo matches and balloon launch. A printer can prepare wristbands that have been printed with the Logo Design on an event like this. These can be distributed to ticket holders to indicate that they have purchased a pass.
This year’s Georgetown Hot Air Balloon Festival & Victory Cup Polo Match will be running from March 22 to 23. It has been planned to offer fun for all ages.
