Georgetown connects kittens with forever homes

Cute and cuddly companions will be paying a visit to the 402 W. Eighth Street branch of the Georgetown Library, and the organizers hope they may be able to find some loving forever homes.

The Georgetown Animal Shelter will be bringing some kittens to the library to meet its patrons in person for a “purr-fest” event. Anyone who finds a new, furry family member will be asked to pay a $35.00 adoption fee, and the kittens will be able to go to their new homes right away.

The public that attend the gathering can meet and cuddle the kittens, and those who choose to adopt will be supplied with a cardboard carrier to transport their new family member home. The shelter has many felines waiting, and its staff are hoping this event will be a big success. Those who would prefer to visit the facility in person will find it located at 110 W.L. Walden Drive.

Adoption drives can help a rescue and re-homing group or other organizations find homes for many of its charges. A poster printing company can work with event organizers to ensure their function is a success.

The Georgetown Library has partnered with the Georgetown Animal Shelter to connect kittens with new families during this activity scheduled for August 10th. More details are available for those interested on the Hello Georgetown website.
