Georgetown class to explore landscaping tools

A beautiful garden starts from the ground up, and having the proper tools can make it whole lot easier.

The Master Gardeners of Williamson County initiative offers monthly gardening workshops that are free of charge, and in September, this Georgetown area function will be focused on choosing and maintaining garden tools. It will be held outdoors, so everyone is reminded to dress appropriately.

The class will introduce tools and other equipment that are well suited to Texas gardening, and everyone who participates will learn how to use them properly. Tips for keeping them in top shape will be shared, and the attendees can ask questions and share their own success stories and tips. It is recommended that everyone bring along a folding chair so they can take in the presentation in comfort, and it is scheduled to last for one-and-a-half hours.

In-person events such as this give the public an opportunity to learn some new skills, and a flyer printing company will be able to provide an assortment of materials for spreading the word. These may be created so they include an attention-grabbing Logo Design and other graphics.

The Hands On in the Garden workshop will be welcoming registrants on September 24th at 10:00 am. The venue for the occasion will be located at 3151 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown.
