The Georgetown school district recently announced the plans for the Summer 2014 Instructional Programs and Nutrition Services. There are many programs offered through the summer months, all based on age and academic levels and needs.
A bilingual pre-kindergarten and kindergarten program will take place in the month of June. A Student Success Initiative curriculum for elementary students will also take place in June, along with the same agenda geared for middle school kids as well.
Those students interested in an extended enrichment program should plan to attend this special program from June 9 to August 8. For a fun experience, there are various activities planned through the city Parks and Recreation facility. The Camp Invention will take place over the week of July 14 to 18. This program reinforces the interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and will feature the opportunity to build a motor-powered vehicle.
Another summer school program is scheduled June 9 to July 2, open to students entering or already in high school. For students with special needs, a special education event called ‘Let’s Make Friends’, will take place June 9 to July 3 along with the Circle of Friends program during the same period.
Cities that offer student activities often use a catalog to list all of the programs and classes. Catalog printing can effectively be handled by a local Print company. The catalog can also include sponsor recognition as well as advertisement.Get a Free Quote for Print
