A local park that gives all levels of ability a chance to join in the fun has set aside a day for special needs families. Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Play for All Abilities Park’s Special Needs Jamboree, and Georgetown families are encouraged to register now for the occasion.
During the event, the park will be reserved for ticket holders only. The families who register will be welcome to explore all that the facility has to offer, and as the theme for the occasion will be “Hollywood”, participating organizations and businesses will incorporate this in their display.
An assortment of stations will be set up in the park by area not for profits groups and businesses that service special needs families. There will also be arts and crafts, games and prize draws as well as lots of other fun on offer for all of the guests to enjoy.
This sort of event can serve as a clearing house for families who are looking for information and support. If the participating organizations and companies have lots of Business Cards on hand it will be easy for them to share their contact information.
