The first ever ‘Taste of Texas’ Row will see a collaboration of four of the Lone Star State’s most influential culinary celebrations in April right here in Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival will be welcoming nationally celebrated, James Beard-recognized and Michelin-starred chefs from across the state to Fort Worth. Once here they will participate in the ‘Taste of Texas’ Row at the all-new Fork + Fire festival event on Saturday during the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, which begins April 9, and continues through April 12, 2026.
The Hot Luck Festival from Austin, Dallas’ Chefs For Farmers Dallas Food + Wine Festival, and the Southern Smoke Festival of Houston will all participate in the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation (FWFWF)'s festival. Each festival will choose the chefs who they feel best represents the culture, flavor and vibe of their city.
Banner printing services are a must for festivals with more than one type of banner frequently being involved.
In addition to the four festival-curated chef teams, a fifth team, Hidden Gems, will be assembled from the outstanding restaurants contributing to the Lone State’s finest dining experiences outside its biggest cities.
Executive Director for FWFWF Julie Eastman conceived and developed Fork + Fire to highlight the individuality of each Texas region. Guests will pass through each section experiencing Austin, Dallas, Houston and Fort Worth in addition to destination worthy cities across the state.
