What's Happening in Fort Worth, TX…

Fort Worth features family friendly movie series

A Fort Worth venue that hosts a variety of outdoor events will be transformed into a giant outdoor movie theater for a series of four screenings under the stars.

The Movie Nights in Burnett Park initiative includes four installments, with one scheduled for each month throughout the fall season. It's being presented by Burnett Plaza, and they will all be family friendly.

The schedule opens in September with “How to Train Your Dragon”, and it will wrap up in December with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. They are all free of charge and unticketed, and everyone is encouraged to bring a folding camp style chair or blanket so they can sit back and relax. Complimentary parking on the upper floors of First on 7th Garage, and free water will be available. Everyone can bring snacks from home or they may purchase a bite to eat from one of the area eateries.

Community events can be a lot of fun, and they bring neighbors together in a spirit of fun. Seasonal event guides for an area can be prepared by a brochure printing company, and these can keep the public informed about local opportunities for fun.

The first installment of Movie Nights in Burnett Park will open on September 26th. More details about the rest of the dates can be found on the Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. website.
