Fort Worth to offer winter glass camp for families

SiNaCa Studios in Fort Worth will hold a glass art experience for families in November and December.

The Family Camp at the School of Glass and Gallery is a program offered by SiNaCa Studios, where families can create several pieces under the guidance of experienced camp instructors.

The projects will include creating group platters and ornaments, and participants can experience several types of glass art while at the studio, such as glass blowing, kiln forming, and flame working. Each of the projects can be picked up five days after the class.

SiNaCa Studios is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for people to work with glass. The facility offers classes and can be used as a rental space for events like weddings.

Those who want to support SiNaCa Studios can become a member of the group. There are multiple tiers for members that cost between $50 and $5,000. The benefits of a membership include receiving free admission to one of the organization’s workshops and a limited-edition glass coin.

The winter family camp will be offered on Saturday, November 25th and Friday, December 29th. The cost of the program is $200 plus $45 per family member who participates in the workshop.

The studio can only accommodate two families with six members per camp session. Art organizations with programs like this can promote their workshops with poster printing.
