This month, Fort Worth, Texas, will be holding their annual Juneteenth Fort Worth Celebration throughout the city.
The Juneteenth festival spans multiple days and offers attendees a variety of fun activities to join. The event will feature a community parade with approximately 50 different entries, in addition to a cheerleading competition and a BBQ Cook-Off. Other events include vocal performances, a 5K race, and even a stage play based on the festival at Will Rogers Auditorium. Children can enjoy a kids’ zone with bounce houses.
Vendors selling food and other crafts can apply to join the event, getting an opportunity to be noticed by a large portion of the community.
