My Health My Resources (MHMR) of Tarrant County will host a training session in Fort Worth for one of its programs.
The Parent Café and #WowTalk Café Training is an event presented by the MHMR of Tarrant County where adults can learn how to organize and host activities in their communities. The Parent Café is a program that provides a safe place for caretakers to have authentic conversations about meaningful subjects, and the #WowTalk Café is an event for teens that helps them make social connections with peers and obtain helpful resources.
The MHMR of Tarrant County is a community center in Texas that offers many services, such as criminal justice support, resources for homeless individuals, and family services. There are five advisory committees in the organization, including Children’s Behavioral Health, the Early Childhood Wellness Council, and Adult Behavioral Health. The center provides training on many subjects, like mental health first aid, suicide intervention skills, and basic life support.

The training program will be held from Wednesday, January 17th to Friday, January 19th at the Mental Health America of Greater Tarrant County. Each session will last from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
