The Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth will host a convention in April for fans of anime, gaming, and pop culture.
Nishi Fest is a multi-day experience where anime and video game fans can meet like-minded people and participate in themed activities. Many special guests will be at the festival, such as Yaya Han, Anya Braddock, and Inspector Lemon. Attendees can meet with famous cosplayers and enter into cosplay competitions. Those who want to show off their cars can participate in a vehicle exhibition. There will also be an Asian Food Festival and industry guest panels held during the convention.
Those interested in being part of Nishi Fest can become part of the event staff by filling out an online form. Workers at the festival can assist with things like merchandise booths, crowd management, the car show, and handling audio tech. Artists who want to be in the event’s marketplace can pay $175 for a 10’X10’ booth. Businesses that also want to enter the festival can pay $500 for a 10’X10’ space.
Nishi Fest will be held on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st. Saturday tickets to the festival will cost $42, and Sunday admission is $34.31. People may also buy a VIP badge for $133.70, which includes perks like access to both days of the convention and meetings with anime voice actors. Conventions similar to this may promote their cultural festivals with poster printing services.
