The 12th Annual Reindeer Romp 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will take place this December at Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport.
The Reindeer Romp is a yearly event where attendees can participate in a race to support the Northwest ISD elementary school physical education departments. There are no age limits to join the activity, and running is not required for those who wish to complete the course leisurely. Guests can interact with live reindeer during the event and will have an opportunity to see Else and Anna from the movie Frozen.
Participants who register for the race in advance can receive a custom T-shirt with their purchase, but these cannot be guaranteed to people who register on the day of the event. The festive event will be held on Saturday, December 7 and will start at 8:30 am. Those who would like to join the 5K or fun run can purchase admission for $20, while students aged between 4 and 18 can pay $15 instead. Informational packets can be picked up at the NISD Athletic Offices on the Wednesday before the event from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and at Lakeview Elementary on the following day at the same times.
