Fort Worth library to give dietary presentations

A nutrition expert will visit the Fort Worth Public Library to give two lectures on healthy eating habits.

Health by Chocolate: Indulge and Be Well and Inflammation 101 are two presentations that people can attend to learn more about improving their eating habits. The first lecture will discuss how chocolate can be a viable and healthy option for a snack when appropriately consumed. The second lesson will teach students about chronic inflammation and share strategies for managing its symptoms. The class will go over dietary and lifestyle changes people can make to combat their inflammation.

Both lessons are led by Jayne Bell, a health and wellness coach who works with Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage. She has also worked as a wellness coach for Health Spring MD and Wellstone. Bell attended the Texas Tech University and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Her coaching has helped her clients lose weight, reduce joint pain, and improve their energy levels. She has been coaching others since 2014.

The lecture on health and chocolate will take place at Fort Worth Public Library’s East Regional branch on Sunday, February 18 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The discussion about inflammation will be at the Southwest Regional branch on Sunday, March 10th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. There is no cost to join the events.
