The Fort Worth Food and Wine Festival is a four-day event taking place next month that highlights the best in local food and drink.
The festival is an opportunity for the world to experience the traditional foods of the people of the Fort Worth area. Popular local chefs and winemakers, as well as many others, combine their talents to create a vibrant festival. The event also serves to raise funds for local scholarships and grants for people seeking an education in the culinary arts.
Six separate events will take place over the four-day schedule. Attendees can buy tickets to attend a single event or purchase a weekender pass that enables them to visit all. The experiences include a taco and tequila celebration, an evening for the appreciation of desserts, and a unique barbecue experience called the Ring of Fire. Throughout the festival, all guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of wines and brews, enjoy burgers and entrees, and sample presentations by renowned pastry chefs.
Ticket prices range from $50 each to $450 for a weekender pass. Each ticket includes all the (responsibly consumed) food and drinks people want during the event. Shopping opportunities and live music, celebrity judges, and much more make the festival a lively event. Locals could consider tickets for Corporate Gifts or make a donation to support the scholarships offered by the nonprofit Fort Worth Food and Wine Foundation.
The festival takes place from April 4 to 7 at various locations. The events are 21+ only and pets are not allowed. Visit the festival website for ticket purchases and more information.
