Fort Worth holiday festivities to include family race

The Bodies Race Company will be organizing a themed athletic event this December in Fort Worth.

The Candy Cane Course is a family-friendly competitive race that offers multiple special activities. The event will feature a costume contest, complimentary photos, and post-race food for finishers. Children can also compete in a free kids’ dash. Each age group competing in the course will have medals available for the three female and male fastest finishers. Those in the race will be given a custom medal and a designer shirt.

The Bodies Race Company organizes several special running events throughout the year, including races themed after Labor Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Each competitive race hosted by the group is chip-timed on a Garmin-certified course. Runners will also receive custom racing bibs to wear. Organizations like the Bodies Race Company can give Promotional Products out during their events to help people remember the brand.

The Christmas-themed race will be held on Saturday, December 19 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. People can choose between competing in a 10K race or a 5K run. Ticket prices for the activity are currently $39, though the cost to register will increase on October 25. The race will be held at the Trinity Trails Duck Pond. Packets can be picked up at the pond from 6:45 am to 7:30 am on December 19.
