Birdie's Social Club in Fort Worth will hold a music festival in July to celebrate Independence Day.
Birdie's 4th of July Throwdown is a community event where people can listen to several live bands perform. The lineup for the music festival will include singers such as Katie Robertson, Gary Grammer, Rod Nelson, and Jessi England. Attendees can also watch performances by Henry the Archer and J/O/E. Dogs are also allowed at the venue so long as they stay on their leashes. The music fest is open to all ages, though only those 21 and over can buy alcohol at the bar.

The club hosts many activities, such as Cowgirl Karaoke sessions, themed trivia nights, and weekly open mic nights. Several local musicians play at the venue, including The Waylanders, the Hankins Duo, and the Matt Gumley Band. The Independence Day concert will begin at 6:00 pm. The event will last long enough for guests to see the fireworks display over Downtown Fort Worth.
