Fort Worth concert to benefit food charity

Food for the Hungry will be holding a benefit concert in November at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth.

Those interested in providing food security to those in need while enjoying live music can attend Food for the Hungry’s upcoming concert. The headliner for the show is Cory Asbury, a talented singer who has been releasing music since 2009. Asbury performs at many notable venues throughout the United States, including the Kern County Fair in Bakersfield and the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro. His catalog of songs include the tracks “These Are the Days” and “Kind”.

Food for the Hungry is an organization that helps impoverished communities around the world. The group has been involved in locations like Kenya, Vietnam, and the Dominican Republic. Mark Viso is the president and CEO of the organization, while George Schutter is the group’s chief financial officer. People can help the charity by paying to sponsor a child. Other services offered by the group include providing clean water to communities and educating people.

The benefit concert will take place on Friday, November 10 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Those interested in volunteering at the show can register in advance. All volunteers must be comfortable with crowds. Charities holding shows like this may use banner printing to help promote the concerts to local audiences.
