Fort Worth car event to raise awareness for prostate cancer

Wheels for Wellness, Inc. will hold a car show in September at Sundance Square in Fort Worth.

The Downtown Fort Worth Benefit Car Show is a fundraising event where people can help local medical facilities provide free screenings for prostate cancer. The organizers provided more than 150 PSA screenings during last year’s show and aim to increase that number this year. People interested in helping the benefit car show can volunteer to maintain barricades throughout Downtown Fort Worth. Chairs will be provided to volunteers.

Wheels for Wellness, Inc. is an organization that wants to promote wellness to the general public and combat cancer by offering free screenings and funding research for treatments. This year, the group will be raising money for Cancer Care Services, the Prostate Cancer Resource Center, and the UNT Health Science Center. People can show their support by buying branded T-Shirts and trucker hats from the organization.

The car show is on September 16th and will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The gate for the program will open at 7:30 am. People can pre-register their cars for $35 or pay $40 to register on the day of the show. Spectators can visit the event for free. Organizations that host similar outdoor car shows may use poster printing to advertise these contests to the public.
