Fort Worth brunch to benefit children's charity

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in Fort Worth will host an event to benefit a wish-giving organization in January.

The 7th Annual Bloody Mary Brunch & FWSSR is a charitable activity where people and businesses can show their support for Texan children. Several sponsorships are available during the brunch, including the Mimosa Sponsor package for $2,000 and the Pin Sponsor package for $3,500. Organizations that support the event will receive benefits such as being portrayed on a parade banner and having signage set up at the brunch's buffet tables.

The organization benefiting from the activity is a Wish with Wings, which is a group established in 1982 to grant the wishes of local kids to provide them with hope. Since its formation, a Wish with Wings has helped more than 1,700 children in Texas. Judy Youngs is the current president of the organization, and Clarissa Patino is the program director. People interested in assisting the group may host wish-granting parties for children and volunteer during events.

The charity brunch will be held on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. An individual ticket to the event will cost $150 per person. People who cannot make it to the brunch can still leave a donation to support a Wish with Wings. Programs that benefit the community like this may use banner printing services to publicly promote their causes.
