The Great Amazing Race Company will be holding an event in Fort Worth at Trinity Park this November.
The Great Amazing Race is a teamwork-oriented event inspired by the Amazing Race television series that helps fight against pediatric cancer. Each two-person team will compete in problem-solving and athletic challenges. The divisions for the competition will be separated into adult-only teams, child-only teams, and pairs of one grown-up and one kid. Competitors can remove two minutes off their finishing time by donating two pairs of used sneakers to the organizers.
Businesses interested in supporting the Great Amazing Race can purchase a sponsorship package. Companies may pay between $100 and $2,000 to become a sponsor for the fundraising activity. Benefits of supporting the race include getting to speak directly to attendees during the welcome ceremony and having the store’s logo featured on the event’s website and tees. Stores that pay $500 can get a priority booth space during the race.
The competition and fundraiser will take place on Sunday, November 6th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will cost $59.99 to enter. Medals and T-Shirts for the event must be purchased by participants in advance. Volunteers will get free admission to the race.
