Cowtown Cook-Off coming to Fort Worth

The Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth will be hosting the 2020 Cowtown Cook-Off and Music Festival this March to benefit multiple charities.

The Cowtown Cook-Off and Music Festival is an event that welcomes the community to judge brisket, chicken, and ribs prepared by local culinary teams. This year, the newly added People’s Choice Award category will allow attendees to sample foods that are not restricted to BBQ-related items. Those who participate in competitive events like this can use banner printing to create displays that keep their booths visible during the festival.

Several talented performers will be attending the Cowtown Cook-Off and Music Festival, such as Austin Allsup, Jason Spradlin, and Jeff Martin. There will even be a dedicated children's zone for kids at the event. The cookoff has been sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cooker’s Association and will be awarding $10,000 in prize money to the team who wins the competition. The charities being supported by the event include Cops for Kids, Brotherhood for the Fallen, and Assist the Officer.

The 2020 Cowtown Cook-Off and Music Festival will be held from Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28. Entry fees for those interested in participating in the event will cost $160, and VIP admission for guests can be purchased for $50 each. The organizers will provide a food serving permit for all competitors who enter the event.
