The 30th Annual Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering and Western Swing Festival will be held this October at the Cowtown Coliseum, Fort Worth.
The Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering is a festival that features a variety of authentic Western activities. There will be multiple competitive events this year, including a youth fiddle-playing contest, and bid calling competition. A Cowboy Trapping and Trade Show will be held during the festival that the public can access for free. Vendors who set up exhibits at trade shows like this can use banner printing to increase their visibility and attract passing consumers.
Guests can also enjoy live performances at the cowboy gathering from artists such as Jean Prescott, Dan Roberts, and R. W. Hampton. Attendees can dance to western swing music performed by Red Steagall and the Boys. Those interested in cowboy poetry can attend a reading session hosted by Dennis Flynn. A children’s poetry contest will also be held at the festival for those aged between eight and 18.
The gathering will be held from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25. A three-day pass for the cowboy festival will cost $85 for adults and $45 for children. The public trade show will open on Friday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The kids' poetry reading competition will be on the Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
