Residents of Fort Worth’s historic Fairmount district are inviting everyone to their holiday event.
The Fairmount Festivus celebration is a holiday tradition that aims to offer something for everyone in the family. The night includes a bus tour to view the holiday lights on all the local homes, a Santa’s Village to walk through, and even real snow thanks to the snowmakers in use for the event. Santa will be on-site for photos, and adults and children will have plenty of activities and games to enjoy. Carol singers will provide the background music for the evening, and refreshments will be available.
Tickets and T-Shirts with the 2018 FESTIVUS Logo Design are available on Eventbrite until December 7th for a $5 discount for the shirts. Those that miss the sale can buy tickets and T-Shirts at the event during the event hours. Tour buses leave regularly from the ticket booth at Kent & Co on South Adams Street.
Tickets are $8 for children 12 and under and $10 for adults. T-Shirts are $15 on Eventbrite, and $20 at the event. There are also discounted T-shirt/ticket packages for sale on Eventbrite. Children can receive a $5 discount at the event if they donate a new toy for OneSafePlace.
Festivus 2018 takes place on December 18 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 1309 South Adams Street in Fort Worth.
