The Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth will be hosting a running event this February created by the organization Black Light Run.
Black Light Run is a unique athletic event that covers runners in a glowing powder and uses UV lights to cause them to shine in bright colors. The organizers use non-toxic neon green, pink, and orange powders to create a memorable experience. People who enter the event will be given a temporary tattoo and a T-shirt. The charitable event originated as a way for the organizers to provide support to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in their home state of Arizona.
