World-famous French bakerys first U.S. location to be in Dallas

Recognized worldwide for its baking, La Tarte Tropezienne will be opening its first location US location, right here in Dallas.

La Tarte Tropezienne’s signature dessert is its Tarte Tropezienne, or its cream-filled tart – a favorite among the jet-setters visiting Saint-Tropez on the French Rivera. The new French bakery will be located next to the Hotel Joule in a small space where the pop-up for Le Labo perfume was located.

The bakery was established in 1955 by Alexandre Micka in the village of Saint-Tropez. His most famous dessert starts with sweet gourmet brioche that has mixture of two creams piped into it and sprinkled with pearl sugar. Using a secret recipe shared by only three individuals in the world, crème Tropezienne is cooked in the traditional manner, using a copper cauldron.

Opening a food establishment requires printing services to supply menus, employee handbooks, and business stationery among other items, as well as help with logo design.

According to spokesperson Rebecca Velázquez, the store in Dallas will be not only be the first in the US, but also the first outside of France. Dallas was chosen over NYC, LA and Chicago for its rapidly growing metropolitan area and thriving economy, in addition to its diverse culinary scene.

Construction has been underway for only a short time, and the opening date has yet to be decided upon.
