As FIFA World Cup crowds descend on the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the DFW International Airport has an expanded Terminal C open to handle them.
Expansion, the long awaited first phase of the terminal’s renovations, has added nine new electronic boarding gates for American Airlines. The project, which was launched in 2024, has added 115,000 square feet that includes not only the additional gates but also more seating areas, new concessions, and upgraded customer amenities.
Clear and aesthetically pleasing signage is something that local printing services provide to organizations everyday, everywhere from large venues like airports and stadiums down to small coffee shops.
Chris McLaughlin, CEO for DFW Airport said this is the culmination of years of plans and investment, and part of a vision shared by the airport and American Airlines to meet the needs of future generations.
Other planned-for Terminal C enhancements will include moving the roof upward, installation of dynamic glass windows, the elimination of over 400 view-blocking columns, and the addition of new customer amenities such as lounge space, security checkpoints, check-in areas, shops and restaurants, and improved restrooms.
Also, the three-part renovation phases will include completing extensive upgrades to Terminal C’s parking garage and a complete overhaul of the adjacent south parking garage.
The next match at the AT&T Stadium will be tomorrow (June 22) when World Cup holders Argentina take on Austria.
