Dallas to Fredericksburg air shuttle to launch in late August

Later this month, a regional air shuttle service called Ladybird Jet will be launched, providing scheduled semi-private flights between Dallas and Fredericksburg.

A charter broker, Ladybird Jet is neither a direct nor indirect air carrier. The company, which was founded by Michele Wilkinson and Devon Perry in Fredericksburg, does not operate or own aircrafts but instead fulfills the role of an agent for the air carrier or client. Full operational control of all flights is maintained by FAA Part 135 certified air carriers

Ladybird Jet flights will run each Thursday and Sunday between Addison Airport in Dallas and Gillespie County Airport in Fredericksburg. The business plan revolves around providing top-tier convenience, with passengers able to skip Transportation Security Administration (TSA) lines, arrive minutes prior to take-off, and relish concierge-level support.

Brochure printing services can help apprise the public of new venues and services available to them.

The service’s first flight will take off from Dallas at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 28 and land at 3:00 pm in Fredericksburg. The plane, which seats eight passengers, will depart from Fredericks at 4:00 pm and arrive back in Dallas at 5:00 pm. Round-trip airfare for flights between Dallas and Fredericksburg is $1,397.

The Ladybird Jet brand is supporting tourism in the Lone Star State by connecting local communities. Once the Dallas-Fredericksburg flight is well established, the company has plans to add a Houston-Fredericksburg route in the fall, with a Midland flight being added next year.
