Nevertheless, Quad/Graphics reported a net loss of almost $22.3 million for Q3, which ended in September.
Williamson Printing President Jesse Williamson sounded enthusiastic about the company’s new direction:
"We're both innovative printers at heart, and we're passionate about Print's crucial role in today's multimedia landscape," said Williamson. "The combined QuadWilliamson brand will create more value and more solutions for more clients." Williamson will continue to run operations in Dallas for the new Quad Williamson.
Consisting of five divisions, the new Quad Williamson offers services ranging from business card printing and stationary printing to web and digital printing, commercial printing and binding. Founded in 1884, the company was one of the first commercial printers in the US to offer a printing process by Pantone called Hexachrome, a high-quality six-color printing system.
Despite the change in ownership, Mr. Faust assures current and future clients that service will only improve:
"Through strategic investments in technology and capabilities, we're building a more complete, innovative and cost-effective platform for our clients while maintaining the high level of personal interaction and service they expect."
