Organizers waited until late January to make the decision to cancel the celebration for a third year, which paid off. Mauricio Navarro, the parade’s producer was quoted on Culturemap Dallas as saying:
"We came in with the idea that the parade was always going to go on. When we saw the omicron spike, we had to consider cancellation but we decided to wait it out, and thank God we did, because it's happening."
The parade will follow Greenville Avenue, starting where it intersects with Blackwell Street at 11:00 am and ending at about 2 pm at SMU Boulevard. The parade will be bookended by a Block Party and Concert from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Energy Square, located at 4925 Greenville Avenue.
Banner printing services are particularly useful for marketing large events open to the public.
The headliner for the concert, starting at 10:00 am will be the Toadies; also featured will be 40 Acre Mule. Four bars, plus several food trucks will be on hand during the event.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dallas has been supported since 2012 with a $50,000 gift per year by Mark Cuban this year the event will be held on March 12.
