New sushi restaurant on its way to Uptown Dallas
Sushi Sakana, will be opening a new location in Uptown at 2811 McKinney Avenue where it will be sharing a building with Dream Café.
The small chain of Sushi Sakana premiered in early 2007 at 3000 Custer Road in Plano, in the Parkwood Square center, where it quickly built a customer base for its service, atmosphere, and sushi rolls. Sushi and sashimi dominate the menu, but many other options are available, including a variety of rice dishes, and noodle selections.
For those unfamiliar with the type of food a restaurant is serving, the menu can take on added importance and printing services can be helpful in ensuring ample details are included without spoiling the menu’s aesthetics.
The chain is known for its rolls, with classics such as rainbow rolls, tuna rolls, and California rolls, as well as its signature rolls, among which is the wasabi roll with salmon, tuna and crab enclosed in soybean paper. The restaurant also offers a selection of appealing and innovative appetizers.
The Sushi Sakana chain has a trio of owners comprising So Park, Sung Yoon, and James Park. Speaking for the group, James Park has confirmed the new Uptown location will be operational by late spring, adding that they anticipate adding to their chain's bar offerings, which at present are limited to Japanese beer and sake.
