A fun holiday outing awaits Dallas residents just 13 miles away in Addison, with The Fifth Annual Addison Circle Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place later this month.
Addison’s annual tree lighting ceremony provides a wide range of activities to usher attendees into the holidays and get them into the festive spirit. In addition to the lighting of the tree, there will be carriage rides and children’s activities, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand, and there will be numerous shopping opportunities.
Holiday crafts and decorations will be available, and Landscaping Systems will have wreaths and trees available for purchase. Various gift vendors will be at the event, and in addition to the opportunity to make a purchase, the public will also have a chance to win door prizes. Included, among this item are an iPad and a $100 gift card.
Admission is free as will be the entertainment provided by the George Bush Elementary choir and the Water Tower Theater. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or a new unwrapped toy with them for the Metrocrest Food Bank.
