Dallas residents can now enjoy the luxury of staying home and having their groceries and alcohol products delivered right to their door.
Just in time to avoid going out in Texas’ sizzling summer heat, Instacart has begun offering its delivery service to Dallas residents as of Monday, August 1. Now, instead of having to make an extra stop on the way home from work or make a special trip to the grocery, it is possible to turn this chore over to someone else for a flat $5.95.
The service will be available in 10 Dallas zip codes and covers eight Dallas retailers. Dallas makes the fourth Lone Star State city where the services is offered. As an added incentive to try the new service, Instacart has agreed to donate a meal for every order placed this August to the North Texas Food Bank.
All participating stores will almost certainly want to advertise their involvement with Instacart. With the help of a flyer printing service, customers can be periodically introduced to the idea of using a personal shopper via handouts
Instacart has sbeen operating since 2014 in Austin and Houston and can be accessed by an app that puts the client in direct communication with a “personal shopper”. Delivery can be scheduled for an hour or more, up to a week in advance.
