A family-friendly, no-contact holiday attraction, Candy Cane Lane, will be running through Christmas in Dallas’ American Airlines Center parking garage, Silver Garage.
According to a press release, the public can drive through the garage and enjoy multi-level visual Christmas displays from the safety of their cars through December 26, each Friday and Saturday, along with some Thursdays. At each level, guests will view a different Christmas outdoor experience such as huge display of holiday lights and traditional holiday lantern characters with wonderland surprises tucked in around every corner.
In this time of social distancing, drive-through events have grown popular. However, unlike many of these attractions, Candy Cane Lane is in a fully covered location that protects it from rain and snow. A special holiday music playlist, designed to accompany the event, will be available for attendees to tune in to.
Flyer printing services are particularly useful for getting the word out about such holiday events.
Tickets purchases are per vehicle, not person, and there is a limited quantity available. Guests must be inside the vehicle, meaning no riding in a pickup bed and no RVs or buses. Tickets must be purchased in advance with hourly starting times offered from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. General admission is $35 to $50 depending on the night, and VIP tickets go for $50 to 60, which allow for a picture with Santa.
The Tarrant Area Food Bank and North Texas Food Band will be the recipients of a portion of the proceeds.
