Closed Dallas restaurant making one-off return

A gone-but-not-forgotten source of fish & chips will be rising from the grave for a one-day pop up at BarNone in East Dallas in late March.

Due to problems with his lease, owner Chef Nick Barclay had to close his Richmond restaurant, Fish & Fizz, in January 2023. However, he is bringing his vaunted fish & chips back for a one-day-only stint. Featured will be Barclay’s famous fish and fries, in large, small, or kid’s sizes.

Also available will be Barclay’s classic sides of mushy peas and curry sauce, plus Cornish Sea Salt and Sarson’s malt vinegar. For desserts, Good Friday diners can also enjoy Bread & Butter pudding, with Devon cream and caramel sauce.

Special events like this are often advertised with the assistance of a banner or flyer printing service.

Patrons can also enjoy a variety of BarNone’s favorite dishes and a full bar to accompany the Fish & Chips.

Situated at White Rock Center, BarNone is at the heart of Old Lake Highlands. For those wishing to attend this pop-up, it is highly recommended to go to OpenTable and make a reservation, as the availability of open seating on the patio and in the bar will be limited.

The Fish & Fizz pop up will take place on Friday, March 29, from 11 am to 9 pm.
