Charlotte soon to weave her web live

A favorite among children, the book ‘Charlotte's Web’ is being presented as a play by the Dallas Children's Theater (DCT) as of the end of this week. Children will no doubt delight in watching Charlotte spin her web to save her pig friend Wilbur.

DCT provides an academic resource for parents and teachers called ‘Behind the Curtain’, to optimize the learning experience for the children.

The guide contains suggestions for discussions before students come to the theater, as well as after the performance. The purpose of Behind the Curtain is to ensure children receive as enriching a theater experience as possible. Moreover, the company anticipates that the resource guide will be an instrument for cross-cultural and language arts learning.

Children enjoy both anticipation and remembrance of an event. Any Posters and Brochures provided by local Print companies can deliver the anticipation prior to, as well as a memento after, a performance.

According to its website, the Dallas Children's Theater came into being in 1984. Its mission since then has been to present productions that promote social values, encourage moral integrity, and are reflective and respectful of the cultural diversity of the community.

The play is suitable for children aged 5 and over. Student matinees will be held April 25 – May 30 and public performances will be given April 25 – June1.
