Dallas’ premier fall society event, the Cattle Baron’s Ball, has announced it will be taking place this fall at Klyde Warren Park, and those interested are urged to apply for tickets as soon as possible.
Patrons were informed of this second change of venue recently via email. Prior to the emergence of the coronavirus, the Cattle Baron’s put the word out that the 2020 ball would be changing venues, from Gilley’s to the home of the Dallas Cowboys, The Star in Frisco.
The venue may be different but attendees can still expect the same quality of food, silent and live auctions, a raffle, and lots of Western wear, in addition to entertainment provided by Cole Swindell and Dierks Bentley. Organizers say it will remain a “private event” and that buying a ticket or table is a must.
Table placements will be assigned for each level based on the date contracts are received. Place cards may be needed and Print shops are equipped to provide ones that can match any décor.
The Cattle Baron’s Ball is the North Texas American Cancer Society’s leading fundraiser, as well as the world’s largest single-night fundraising event for research of the disease. Since 1974, over $85m has been raised.
The theme for the year’s gala will be “Just Livin’: Take Cancer by the Horns,” and it takes place on October 17.
