The new Dallas eatery opened December 15 with Cole Babb, 27, in the driver’s seat. The Chop Shop is the latest addition to the restaurant company Rock Libations’ portfolio. Babb, whose father Josh Babb is one of Rock Libations founders along with Ken Johnsen and Sean Clavir, has worked in the industry for half his life.
This latest enterprise for the group enjoys a prime location immediately outside the American Airlines Center. Cole Babb, as quoted by The Dallas Express, explained:
"It's completely event-driven, so that's about 4 to 5 nights a week when you're going to be mobbed, and then not so much on non-event nights."
ChopShop is a sports bar with an automotive feel and décor, and a DJ on site every night. A Print shop can assist with the creation of a Logo Design that matches whatever motif a new business presents.
The bar offers a selection of cocktails, and the menu comprises the usual bar food with a few automotive-inspired name changes. Several unusual vegetarian items are available too, such as trashcan nachos that feature beans, queso, and sour cream; and cauliflower bites that come with ranch and Buffalo sauce.
