AA reveals Flagship Suite seats coming to DFW
American Airlines (AA) has announced new plush premium seating, to be known as Flagship Suite seating, will be available on its newest Boeing 787-9 aircraft and it will debut for a Dallas-Fort Worth route this fall.
The front section of the 787-9 airliners will contain 51 Flagship Suite seats with privacy doors, one-of-a-kind optional chaise lounge seating, and more personal storage space that includes a wireless charging pad. Flyers using the Flagship Suite service will enjoy priority security, check-in, baggage handling and boarding as well as admission to American’s Flagship lounge where signature cocktails and free regionally inspired dishes will be available.
In transportation, as in all sectors of the economy, logo design plays an important role in building a valuable brand such as AA.
Once on board, Flagship Suite flyers can avail themselves of a multicourse meal with wines, a duvet and blanket, an amenity kit loaded with skincare items, and a dual-sided pillow.
Primarily used by long-haul international flights, American Airlines plans on adding 30 of the new 787-9 aircraft to its fleet by 2029,
An inaugural flight featuring the new plush seating will depart Chicago’s O’Hare Airport for Los Angeles on June 5. On August 6 a Philadelphia to London flight will be added followed by a route from Philadelphia to Zurick on September 3.
Dallas Fort Worth flyers will have their first opportunity to enjoy the new Flagship seating on October 2 for a Dallas-Fort Worth flight to Brisbane, Australia.
