Kimley-Horn, an engineering and planning firm has recently revealed it will be moving into the Epic II tower at The Epic project in Deep Ellum.
In addition to its two office towers, The Epic, an eight-acre mixed-use development from Dallas-based Westdale Real Estate, also includes retail space, a luxury hotel and high-rise apartments.

Located at 2500 Pacific Avenue, the Epic II tower contains 500,000 square feet of space and was built exclusively to hold transportation giant Uber’s regional office. The company, however, never moved into most of the available space and its offices are in the process of being subleased.
Kimley-Horn will be jointing interiors firm DLR Group which has leased nearly 12,000 square feet as well as developer Hines and Bestow Inc., an insurance firm in the Epic II tower.
Founded in 1967, Kimley-Horn employs close to 5,500 workers throughout the United States and Canada. The North Carolina-based firm will be utilizing over 23,500 square feet of space. According to documents the company filed with the state, its plans are to have its office open there early in 2024.
Currently Kimley-Horn operates from multiple located in North Texas; however, this will be its only central Dallas office.
