Deep Ellum’s omakase restaurant, Tatsu Dallas, is one of nine finalists in a national competition hosted by Cintas Corp. to determine the country’s best restaurant bathroom. According to Cintas, a business-to-business supplier of cleaning products, criteria used included cleanliness, visual appeal, functionality, innovation, and unique design elements.
Printing services can use an award or even status as a finalist to provide a business with a means of standing out from its competitors.
Cintas said about the Tatsu Dallas restroom:
“The spotless and elegant space echoes the meticulous care shown throughout the meal.”
Noted elements of Tatsu Dallas’ bathroom include wallpaper with painted koi fish and a Toto toilet. Regarded extensively throughout the bathroom fixture industry, Toto toilets often include special features such as being self-cleaning or having heated seats, depending on the model.
Tatsu’s competition for the title of America’s Best Restroom includes Colorado’s City of Fruita, the Rosebrook Lodge of New Hampshire, Utah’s Little America Hotel, and The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York.
Along with honor of being named Best Restroom in the country, the winning restaurant will also be presented with a Cintas UltraClean restroom cleaning service and $2,500 credit that can be applied to qualifying Cintas products or services.
The winner will be announced by Cintas on September 22.
