English pub to open in Dallas Deep Ellum for World Cup 2026

Where once the legendary Green Room held sway at 2713 Elm Street here in Dallas, there will soon be an English pub called the Queens Head Pub.

The Deep Ellum space will include not only the Green Room’s former space but also an adjacent property making the total space for the Queens Head Pub to be 6,000 square feet. Included in that space will be an impressive 40-foot bar, part of which will be the original Green Room bar which is said to date back to the 1800s.

The menu is described as elevated British pub fare such as shepherd’s pie, bangers & mash, fish & chips and steak & ale pie with starter options including sausage rolls, curried mussels and scotch eggs. Hungry patrons will have other options such the QHP Burger, Guinness beef stew and a variety of desserts that includes toffee bread pudding.

The décor will feature reclaimed hardwoods, brass accents, hand-painted mirrors and tin ceilings surrounding cozy nooks, a relaxing lounge area, communal tables and a private dining space. Additionally, a 2,000-square-foot rooftop patio will offer open-air as well as covered areas planned to allow year-round use.

Opening for the Queens Head Pub is planned for May, just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The pub will be closed on Mondays and open at 11 am Tuesday through Sunday.
