Only 2.3 miles from the abundance of entertainment and dining options located in the neighborhood of Deep Ellum, financing has been secured for a 22-story luxury high-rise named Lucille to go up at 2700 McKinney Avenue.
According to Endeavor Real Estate Group, an Austin-based developer, construction will commence later this summer on the project which will include 265 residential units, a rooftop pool, and an observation deck with impressive views of the city. The building will be within walking distance of the Katy Trail, Klyde Warren Park, Whole Foods and the Uptown restaurants as well as being only a short drive from Deep Ellum.

Per a news release, Amenities are geared to the neighborhood’s urban lifestyle with apartments featuring high ceilings, lots of windows, French-door stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, smart thermostats, beverage centers, tech stations and private balconies. Residents will have access to coworking spaces, a fitness center featuring an infrared sauna, private conference rooms, an indoor dog grooming spa, and 24-hour concierge service.
The building’s rooftop will offer outdoor dining areas, an infinity-edge pool, grilling stations, and a private dining room, while at street level the building will have around 10,000 square feet of retail space.
A news release stated that the first residents are anticipated to be able to move into the tower in late 2028.
