Robert Earl Keen, the Lone Star State legendary songwriter, is making his final tour, titled the “World Tour of Texas.”
Before his final performance on September 4 in Helotes, Texas, he will make a one night stop to perform in Deep Ellum.
The Factory in Deep Ellum will be part of the final leg of the singer-songwriter’s final tour, which will kick off on August 4 in Corpus Christi. The final leg will include a couple of nights at New Braunfels’ Gruene Hall and other Texas institutions such as The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion close to Houston for one night, and two performances at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin.
Many musical venues utilize banner printing services to advertise the appearance of a particularly popular entertainer or group, while other prefer to use a poster printing service.
A Houston native, Keen has a catalog of 21 albums and his song writing ability has earned him a position in the Texas Heritage Songwriter Hall of Fame, as well as the Texas Institute of Letters and The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.
While his touring days will soon be over, the musician plans to continue to host his successful podcast, write music and support the next generation of musicians.
Keen’s performance in Dallas at The Factory in Deep Ellum will take place on Wednesday, August 24.
