New Universal theme park to cater to young kids

The popular saying is that everything is bigger in Texas, but Universal’s latest theme park will break that trend by being on the small size.

A Dallas area theme park proposed for Frisco is going to be more intimately sized than what most of us have come to expect, although this is understandable since it is targeting small children. Families with little kids in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area may appreciate the ease of navigating the 47-acre Universal Kids resort that will comprise a theme park and hotel.

By comparison to this new setup, Sea World San Antonio and Six Flags Over Texas are each over 200 acres. In California the Disneyland resort occupies 500 acres.

The planned kid-centric theme park will be divided up into areas such as Shrek, Jurassic World, and Trolls. While practically all theme parks include a kiddie land area, this new park, like Legoland, will be exclusively targeting children between the ages of 2 and 12.

Banner printing services are utilized throughout theme parks, museums, zoos and convention centers.

Legoland, which covers 150 acres, has recently added a 4.5-acre addition with its own separate admission. Outside the gates to Legoland is the 4.5-acre mini theme park dedicated to Peppa Pig.

So far, Universal has not released an opening day for its yet-to-be-named children’s theme park.
