Dallas ranked high among Americas most festive cities
Thumbtack, a home services platform has created a ranking of the most festive cities in the country for 2025 and Dallas landed in the No. 2 spot.
The platform relied on requests for holiday light installations from October 2024 to October 2025 and the “relative frequency” of those requests with the population of all state and metro areas considered to arrive at the rankings. Dallas has ranked high on the list since 2022, but has as of yet overtaken Austin, which has achieved the No. 1 spot for four years running.

The report stated:
It would appear that the Lone Star State is the most festive in the U.S. with four Texas cities making it into the top 10 of festive cities in America. The afore mentioned Austin and Dallas garnered the No. 1 and No. 2 spots while Houston and San Antonio also landed in the top 10 taking the No. 6 and No. 9 positions respectively.
